Default Kornit932DS/HIX Dryer Help required

Hi! All,

Need some help/advise.

We just setup the HIX NPII3616 dryer for use with the Kornit 932DS.

Our Settings:- Temp setting is 163C and the Fresh air setting is "5". The belt speed is set to 3 mts.

1. White garments we use a Spray value of "1" on the Kornit. We need to run the garment through the dryer twice to cure the garment properly. Is this normal?

2. If we increase the temperature to 175C and set the belt at 90 secs, we find the colors to fade quite a bit.

3. We seem to have a funny problem when we run darks through the dryer. The pure whites appear uniform of the printer (cannot see any garment fibres). After curing we see the white is cured in a manner where we can see parts of the garment (looks like the ink is sucked into the garment). We have tried curing with a heatpress and do not have this problem. Are we doing something wrong?

Any help/advise would be of great help.

Regards

Sunil
