An alternative way to do this is to print the photo using a heat transfer with a grey scale print on it and the brand name at the bottom as a plastisol transfer. Since the photo is a rectangle shape, it would be very easy to use an opaque transfer paper. Plus, the heat transfer paper will give you a nice white color to start from. Most of the time when doing a
dtg print with that much white down, the white will not look uniform (i.e. some pitting may occur). You can help counter this by putting a white highlight over the top of it, but it still will not look as smooth as a heat transfer in my opinion. But a
dtg print is the preferred way when you don't have a square / rectangle design.
Just another alternative way to think about.
