Anyone know of the proper address for Spot98, either their retail or custom. Took a drive through downtown Toronto this morning and was hoping to stop in and pick up some vinyl to do some work on the cutter. Window in front had a for lease or sale sign up, unless we went to wrong address, it would seem to have closed.
Thanks Johnny. That s what we saw back in April too and looked like it had been that way for awhile. We were down in that area this weekend and walked by it again, no one seemed to know anything about it.
I read on there website a few months or so back that the founder died this year. Not sure if that has something to do with the store closing though.
Yes, there is a single line at the end of the company background page... "Spot98.net Founder Passed away on January 16th. 2009"
I sent an SMS to the phone number on Spot98.net and they confirmed they are still in operation, just no longer at the Queen street location (it's still listed on the website). When asked if there was a new address, they said just Spot98.net. I'm thinking they may have given up the retail/walk-in side of things for a while...
