Default Custom heat transfers - wood?

Hey everyone,

I'm a totally new to this, hoping to do some experiments.

Where in Canada (Toronto) can custom transfers get made? Ideally I'd like to gangrun a bunch of designs to keep costs down.

I mainly want to do some experimenting with transfering onto wood (ie. skateboards) - has anyone tried this? Is it dangerous since the heat needs to go up so high? What is the temp typically - 400 degrees?

thanks so much

Welcome to the forums jimmicat. In some cases and for decorative purposes, there are certain laser transfer papers that you can use to print on wood, like the Forever Multi-Trans and the Mugs 'N More paper from Neenah. But I don't think this is the method used for printing on skateboard decks. I've seen a video where they used print 'n cut or decal vinyl stickers and then they manually spray paint a clear top coat. I think this is the correct method to print on skateboards.
