I am looking for a cafepress shop template so that I can customize my store layout.

I have googled cp templates only to find cheap, cheesy, non-professional looking templates that look more like a myspace profile than a professional looking retailer.

I am looking for a black & white template that will house a featured product, a banner, and my categories (by design and by product type).

Does anyone know of a good cp template resource?

I am by no means an expert on this but what I did was find one of the existing templates that cafepress provides and just tweak it to my liking. I do have some experience with html and css but, you don't need that much to have a custom looking shop up and running. Especially if you can get by with just taking a premade template and changing the colors to your liking.

Well I think you have to have a premium store, not sure, but I have one. Log into your cafepress account and go to click manage on your shop -> Customize Shop Appearance -> Custom Templates, and just choose away.

Did you find the templates? You do have to have a Premium shop. I did like Brian mentiond- found one I liked and then tweaked it with the colors and fonts I liked. And I know very little html.
