Hi Y'all!!

I am thinking about using Cafepress to sell my designs . But I was wondering how I can protect my designs. Should I copyright them or does Cafepress protect me?

Well, they can't right click and copy or save the file if thats what you mean... but if they can use it as a reference and duplicate it manually!

Cafepress will not and can not protect your designs from somebody copying them from the market place or you shop and selling them as their own. If you truly want your designs protected then you need to see if they qualify for copyrighting.

Are you talking about someone re-creating your designs or taking the thumbnail and using it some other way? If that's the case, the thumbnails are so small and the quality that is seen aren't good for anything. The size is small and if someone was to steal them, they wouldn't be able to do much with them.
