Ok, so finally, after a month of convincing my friend to by a tshirt, he finally does it... yipee yay.... I am trying to find out more ways to drive traffic to my website... Myspace doesn't seem to be working well.... Hmmm... I might have to walk through every section I have in the store and redo all the descriptions and tags for my images... I know I can make it work if only someone could teach me how to do it.... just learning the ropes one step at a time... wish me luck...
Ricky

Good luck! So you made your first sale by annoying your friend to death? lol Oh well, a sale's a sale right? Don't feel bad though, this is a tough time of year to be starting a store, since the retail side of the economy is super slow right now.

Hard labor kills, make t-shirts instead.
i was gong through your e-store and noticed that you have several white tees with the exact same design (also the grey one). i saw that they were of different weights and feel but i think you should pick one (which ever you know you would like and know feel better) and have that as 'the' product. also if you choose a different color it should be a visibly different color. i saw all white when i went to the 'tainted existance' page and didnt notice the grey color of one of em till clicking on it. i think like everyone else you are trying to become big and that being the case your site should look the part. the only ones that know you are a beginner is you and your printer. i would say do white and black for example if you want diff colors. just a thought

Awww. But I thought you were just joking about that. Either way, at least you know your sites cart works and the first one is done!

Have you ever considered calling your local Small Business Development Center? I just got the number of a woman who does this. I am going to get a one on one meeting with her, and she is going to show me the finer points of this, for FREE. Personal class on this, free. These resources are there for you, Ricky. Just look up your local branch and set up an appt to start.
Congrats on your first sale- even if it were to a friend.
I still think you need to add more keywords in your headers. For example, when I clicked on the "Funny Tees Series" in the featured items, this is all you have written-- "What will your superhero friends think now that your superpowers are gone due to a recall? Find out. Wear the shirt and see the reaction." You only have ONE key/tag word and that is "shirt". That is what the search engines look for. You NEED to add key words anywhere you can write a description of your items.

Thank you Brenda, and everyone makes the same points. I am going to sit down and do that tonight. To all my designs. This thing needs to work since I've put so much effort into designing, maybe I should shift my attention to marketing for a while. Thanks again.
