Looking at the different shirts on CP, whats the most popular method, press or direct printing???

I cant tell and it doesnt say when i click on the different shirts. I want to open a spot on cp but not sure whats the best method and how the quality is.

I haven't personally seen two methods. My guess is direct printing is better looking.

I believe it's free to open a shop there. I would open one, create a design in each method, then order it and see for yourself. Or, if you don't want to go through that trouble, order the different methods from someone's shop.

Thanks for the reply. For the past few months ive just been getting quotes for silk screening, I learned about cafe press this past wknd but dont know much about the different methods. how durable they are. What method sells the most. Im also looking into t-shirt mojo since they do silk screens. Im trying to start my own business with my logo and would hate to put out bad stuff.

I am not sure that cafe press even does transfers anymore, I'm pretty sure they are all Dtg printed which is much nicer than transfer in my opinion.

So the majority of the prints i see on shirts (at cafe) are direct printing? I havent seen any shirts that says the method of the print.

There is really no other way to do fulfillment printing that is cost productive and high quality except dtg.

I tried signing up several times to become a member at cafe earlier but its not letting me. Its saying " thank you for your interest in our website, but we are unable to accept your registration at this time". Not sure what time means.technical issues or what.

They don't offer press printing anymore on t-shirts.

i registered yesterday with cafe. its a bit confusing. spent hours trying to add my products and get acclimate with it.

I'm wanting to know if I can request the kind of printing done on my t-shirts? I've just been on CP's site and ordered a sample of my shirt but I didn't have a choice how it was printed.
I want to create t-shirts where I can change what is printed on them for each customer. I would also like the lettering to be slightly raised and in a matte finish.
Does anyone have a clue where I can get that?

You can't get the lettering raised slightly with a matte finish with CafePress.

They only offer one type of printing on garments, which is the Direct To Garment (DTG) printing.
