Exclamation how should i go about producing my shirts with a small budget?

i am developing a clothing line and i need advice.... i currently have tons of desings and narrowed it down to a couple now im wondering how i should go about producing them, first i was thinking of just making some samples so i can get peoples reactions to them and go from there... so i tried to print it and do it myself and it looks cheap so i need to know an method that not to expensive and is still good quality.....

thank you...

maybe you can make samples from a place like zazzle (google zazzle) that has no minimum and then sell based off of the look samples...

then you can mass produce the full run b/c you have a customer lined up?

you can have the buyer sign a contract guaranteeing they are purchasing your shirts and have them made.

Hi,

Welcome to the forum & good luck to you in business! I had the same problem starting out. I simply contracted my work out and got samples made of each design. I have a friend that works in the film industry with me to take the photos for my website. Again, good luck to you! I had to really shop around to several different local vendors in order to find the best deal. Also, I needed to find a vendor that didn't have a minimum. Again, good luck to you!

Hi
Yes, I have used zazzle many times to make samples sometimes they are not as meticulous with the centering of your image but you cannot beat the fact that you do 1 piece!!!!

Yes, you can make your designs "public" if you want and offer them for sale.

I never did this so I cannot really offer experience but I can say that they do offer that option should you choose it. You can also choose to keep all your designs private.

Zazzle is one of my favorites b/c of the low minimum and they seem to be one of the only sites that do black and dark colored shirts with minimum as low as 1 piece.

well, the thing that i didn't like about 'em...was that you don't have contact information for the customers. if you ever want to break away from them...you don't have a client base. if i'm wrong...let me know. but, yeah the 1 piece minimum is great! also, i ordered a shirt from them a few years ago and it is like garbage now. the quality of the shirt was poor & the screen printed design faded after a few washes. perhaps, this had something to do w/the quality shirt the store owner selected in advance. the print fading...i don't know. and that was when i was on the consumer end. although, it has been a few years...maybe they've improved...????!!!???
