[SELLING PRINTING SERVICES] Limited time, limited resources, but need to make money
Limited time, limited resources, but need to make money
I have a full color design to make a heat transfer .
Now that I have contacted the recommended transfer company to find out about its terms and conditions, I note that the minimum financial outlay would not be affordable at this time.
Regrettably, I wanted to have the printed products like Tee shirt, hats and caps and bags, ready for the latter part of this month because of an upcoming festival.
Someone said that all is not lost even on limited resources. With that in mind, it was also recommended that I resort to Direct to Garment printing for now, because of time and cost.
Would anyone endorse such a recmmendation and if so, could they also recommend possible companies which might be able to addreess my concerns or as they say, step up to the plate and offer an unchallenged service in a timely and affordable manner?
Another source also suggested that I could consider at this time, manufacturing items like coasters, place mats, badges/buttons, posters, magnets etc with the same design.
Are these additional suggestions admirable too? Please let me know.

pcs,
It would all depend on what you are looking to do in volume. Each and every process to make customized materials whether it be shirts, hat or anything else for that matter has its pros and cons. You may also want to contact a local shop or maybe someone here on the forums maybe able to help you. As your deadline is fast approaching I'm not sure you want to try and force learning the ins & outs of using any new equipment as there is sometimes additional materials needed as you learn in using any new equipment or materials.
What items do you want to print on?
How many of these items?
(remember to include # per size)
What kind of a design is it:
All text? A Graphic? Both?
Number of colors needed to be in the design?
How large do you want the design to be?
What location on the particular item (ie shirt) do you need the design (front, back, both?)
All of these questions when answer should help you and others with what options you are looking at in being ready by the end of the month. As depending on what those answers are you would definitely be able to weed out which process and the associated costs are.
