| Re: Online sales, expectations, past vs now This will vary so greatly that I cant imagine anyone being able to tell you this. It will depend on how your site is set up and what your key word strategy is, etc. Do you already have a site? If not, let me know and maybe I can save you some of the time I wasted. | |

| Re: Online sales, expectations, past vs now You shouldn't focus on other peoples sales. If they are higher than yours it's only going to discourage you. | |

thank you!!! | | | | | | I think it's going to be hard for people to post their "real" numbers on a public forum. You may have more luck if you PMd a few people.
I think that any numbers you have that allow you to cover your overhead are great - right? Given the economy and based on the statistics I've seen, most companies are just trying to stay alive.
If you can't get anyone to share numbers with you here, try checking the stats on National Retailer Federation website - National Retail Federation - (there are also such associations for just about every state). You can also take a look at http://www.shop.org which is NRF's digital side.
Sorry, I wish I could be more helpful | |
