Default Looking to expand in Canada

Hello everyone,
My name is Vigen, I have been in the industry for over 20 years and have owned 2 companies based in UAE. One specialized in advertising and promotional gifts with full in house printing machinery from round printing to full automatic T-shirt printing (M&R) and epoxy services and the other company specialized for funny t-shirts (known as smstshirt ) heat transfer (using Canon CLC) or vinyl cut and transfer (using Roland print and cut 54”) with more than 500 ready designs online to order and full set up of heat transfer to T-shirt, cap, mouse pad, sublimation for coffee mug and name badge and etc..
We are having interesting request especially from Canada and USA for our online T-shirt business, but because of the shipping charges (almost 30USD from UAE to Canada) we was not able to sell our products online.

Now I am interested to set up similar business in Canada and need help to know
1- Cost of business set up (trade license, and other paper works…)
2- Rent of warehouse or workshop for printing section ( at least 10 X 20 meter)
3- Rent of showroom or small shop in shopping mall
4- What is the import tax for T-shirt and other personalize blank items
5- What is the average salaries for this kind of jobs ( printer, operator …)
I understand answer to above questions will not be 100% accurate and correct but the general ideas will help for my planning.

I am also open to those hard working individuals who have the wish to collaborate me as a partner, those who have good knowledge of local market, screen printing … and they look to this business more seriously than hobby.

I think you can probably find many of the answers to your questions here - Business Start-Up Assistant - Home Page. It's the website run by the Canadian Government.

Regarding a trade license - that will depend on which provice you select to operate from. Actually the answers to many of your questions will depend on which provide you select to operate from.

You can also call the business service office directly. From my experience, the people there are pretty friendly and knowledgeable. Here's the information: 1-888-576-4444
(9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in every time zone).
