hello all just need a bit of help i want to buy a screen printer to be able to print my own line as well as take on a few companies in the area but the machines i keep running into are a $150k and upwards in todays economy its hard for me to get a loan that large to fit my budget my question is where can i go to find investors or partners to fulfill my dream any help would be much appreciated. thanks

Start small. Buy the $50 speedball kit. Go apprentice at a shop for 6 months. Pay cash. If you have to put it on credit, you can't afford it.

The last thing you want to do is take on partners and loans. Running a business is hard enough without the crushing risk and pressure of a bank and investors.

Nobody is getting rich in this business. Most grind it out 40+ hours a week.

I think you should live your dream. Take it one step at a time, or your dream will become a nightmare.

Either that or find yourself a good contract printer, and let the pros take care of it for you. Even the big boys like Nike, Adidas etc. sub much of their work.
