Hi everyone,

I been working out of my garage for the past 4 months and looking to expand to a warehouse. I will be hiring 2 people part time so I need a more organized way from beginning inquiry from a client until final productions

I need help on every detail

- what to use for paymeny
- shipping
- keeping account information (being able to mass e-mail them for sell sheets
- production forms
- proofing
- inventory

currently i have to go to 10 different places to finalize an order

is there a way to condense to simpler ways and more organization

Michael,
I'm a little confused. Are you asking questions about upsizing? In other words, are these issues that you are currently dealing with that you are looking to overcome, or are these issues that you haven't had in the past that you are looking to be proactive on?

Like Joe asked, what kind of business are you doing?

now and for upsizing..

i can handle that we are not orgazined since I can remember most of the orders and tasks on top of my head...

i just need efficient ways to organize

Well, as far as organizing your inventory, accounts, etc. there are quite a few software programs out there you can find to help you with that task. For me, it was as simple as using Excel when I started. Develop a daily routine with your employees.

I meet with all my employees at 7:30 daily for a quick "huddle". We go over everything that needs to be done for the day. When we break, everyone knows what needs to be done without me reminding them. That's a small example of something I do.

I would suggest Excel for most of you needs. As you grow, you can bring in a CPA to take care of your books and you can focus on screen printing.
