Default Business Question

I currently help run a local scrapbook shop, and have recently recieved some screen printing machines. I was going to put off my own line of clothing with my son, just some novelty tee's and such to sell online and in my shop. Could I legally use my current business information to sell my shirts (originally designed) with brand name and logo.

Yep, there are no specific licenses needed to produce or sell a clothing line, just the same business licenses as any other business.

If you want to sell the shirts under a different brand name and logo, you might need a DBA (Doing Business As) or similar to link the two businesses.

But you don't need to start again from scratch for the second business.

Or a suggestion would be. You could register "the name" as a division of your company.

But yes you don't need another name or register another business license for it.
