I am trying to get a complete checklist of all the licensing i need to get in order to resell t-shirts with custom graphics. I would like to go LLC, and i am pretty sure i need a small business license, and a resellers license
Aside from filing for a fictitious business name (the name of your business), that's all you really need to start selling shirts in California. If you want to become an LLC, you can just download the articles of incorporation to become an LLC and file.
What city are you in in CA? I obtained my license through the Office of Finance in the city I live in. I was able to download the forms, fill out, present to the local office, and received the license the same day. Have you consulted with your accountant about LLC vs. C corp or S corp?
Hi, i have a few questions concerning the ficticious business name, what if your do not actually have a physical store and are only going to be selling online? do you still need to do this? for the address would I just put my home?
