Need to Register?

I am looking to start my t-shirt business out of my place by next this Spring. These are the things I am attempting to do to start:

1. Business License

2. Resell permit

3. Tax ID

Is there anything else that the forum could suggest that I may need to do?

Im interested as well

What all is needed to be legit and not run into any troubles down the road? Granted, these pre-requisites may very from state to state but for the most part, I would imagine they are very similar

That's about it by way of legit operations, but I'd also include business plan, potential sources of money, and analysis on wether you want to have a brick-and-mortar store front, web store or both.

are you opening a store or just from your home? I live in CO. and all I needed was my business lisence. You should call the city and find out exactly what type of lisence you require to start a home base business.

I plan to operate via the internet and wholesale to a few local retailers.

I also want to be able to purchase blanks at wholesale prices.
