For those of you who sell via your own website and also to retail stores, what do they typically sell your shirts for?

The same as you sell?

Or do they perhaps charge $4 or whatever more because if someone buys form your site they need to pay for s&h.

Either way, how do you figur eout your wholesale price? Based on what YOU sell your shirts for, or what THEY sell your shirts for?

I'd tend to thing that they would be the same. The retail stores want customers to buy from them, but if you are selling for less on your website they would most likely buy from there.

I'd price them the same, and have the customer pay for shipping.

Retailers don't want to compete with your website so alot of them require that the prices are similar.

Others I know in a different field of retail are given a "suggested retail price" from the supplier/manufacturer.

This is what I intend on doing - giving a suggested retail price. And I would plan on having my retail price and others retail price around about the same.
