This section of the forum is for discussing the business and finance issues of the t-shirt industry. Which business structure to use (sole proprietor, LLC, S Corp, etc), how to handle billing, where to register your business and get the proper licensing, etc.
I have my partnership DBA, an entity number, and also a tax id number. We are selling online currently on our site and we are also about to sell to clothing boutiques soon. We will also be trying to get a loan from a bank. We went to our local municipal building and city hall in Philadelphia and we get the run around alot.
We just want to know:
1) What forms do we need to handle all the above tasks?
2) Where do we get them from?
3) How much?
Our business is based in Philadelphia,PA. so if anyone has any expertise in this state or general knowledge. We would be thankful.
If you have them, all you need is a business permit from Philadelpia if you are within the city limits. from wherever if you are outside the city itself.
Old, northern big city, you might need all other kinds of stuff. Building inspection, sign permit, sewer inspections, cash register totalizer inspection, minimal lighting inspection, etc. Each performed at high cost by a union member.
