Hi, if you register your corporation as Hello X, then if you have your label name as Hello X, do you need to regsiter Hello X as a fictitious biz name?

I don't think you do, but I am not positive either. But my reasoning is because a corporation is it's own seperate entity, so in theory, the corporation would own the name Hello X, not an individual, such as a sole p. I could be wrong, but that's my thought process on this. I would love to know as well though.

In PA, regardless of how I organized my biz (SP, LLC, Corp) if the company name did not include my Last Name, then I had to register a fictitious name. It depends on what your requirements are where you live. Mine wanted $70 if I wasn't using my last name.

It does vary frfom state to state, because in Florida, your business must include your FULL name, not just your last. Sucks really, but what can you do?
