Hi all, I just received my brother 541 last week and I'm trying to figure some things out. I primarily use corelx3 for my graphics. The manual says that I should turn off color management which I've done. I'm just curious if everyone uses the brother 541 color palette that is included or another. I've noticed that most of my templates from smart designs are pantone so when I print them they are very different. I'm not sure if I should try and convert them to the 541 or what. I have printed out the 541 palette on a tee shirt so I set with that. Thanks for any help!

Kathy, your best results will be from artwork using RGB color profiles. You can also increase the vividness setting to either 1 or 2 and this should help a little with color management. If you are using Corel, you can open up the brother swatches into Corel to allow you work off of them easier; to load the swatches look on the CD under useful tools. Theres also instructions on the Brother owners website on how to load these swatches.
