I was wondering if anyone out there has seen the new Brother 782? It prints white inks and Brother seems to be one of the best printers on the market...

I saw it in action this past Friday at the NBM Show. The quality of the machine is excellent, as is the printing "detail", but we were not happy with the feel of the finished product (black shirts). It would be best that you check it out for yourself because our requirements may be different from yours and the finished product may be acceptable to you. Good luck.
You didn't like the feel of the ink or pre-treatment?? What was it like? I generally don't like a lot of ink on the shirt. I like the shirt to feel like the shirt and less like the screen printing, sometimes feels thick.

The ink felt worse than screen printing. It felt almost like a transfer...and I'm serious. I was disappointed. But don't take my word for it, you should check out all of them before making a financial commitment of this size. By the way Vic, what part of Louisiana?
Maybe they used a Heat Press to cure it and it made it smooth and shinny??
I was just happy to see that Brother made the jump to white inks.
I am from Ascension Parish, If you are on I-10 heading East, From 20min Baton Rouge, then Prairieville (ME) - Gonzales, 45min to New Orleans.
I would like to attend a show SOON, to see all the machines in action. Plus I would like to see some sign equipment too. I tried contacting US Screen Print & Inkjet Tech. and no one calls me back?
I later got an e-mail that they cut thier staff back? So, maybe they just don't want to sell me a T-Jet Blazer Pro System ??? You here anything on what is going on with them?

They cured them with a belt dryer. Not sure if that caused a problem.
I use to live off of Hwy 929 in P-Ville. My brother now owns my old house there. I'm originally from Baton Rouge.
You need to read this thread about US ScreenPrint (personally, I'd steer clear of them at the moment.)
