So I thought I would post an impression and then ask for help.
After having been dealing with the machine since december, I must say best investment ever, not a single hicup for the last 3 months ( not even banding in any form), All my pro clients ( graphic and fashion designers) are very happy with the output, and surely the feel of the prints, color matching has not been a big issue although there is someone always ready to complain but very minimal almost nonexistant.
So the only clients I have trouble with are the simplest, Family Photos, It doesn't matter what photo I print all have a noise problem, some clients seem happy others complain about the sharpness of the print, maybe all the shades, lights and midtones are not the best for the brother.
Any of you who have ben printing mostly photos and not graphics, have you had any issues wih clients or this is as good as it gets for photos with this machine?.
What is the quality of the photo itself? Is it possible to post a image of the original picture as well? Its hard to tell if its the print that looks a little blurry, or if its from the original image that you used.

what kinda shirt are you using? I don't really do much with photo's some but they turn out pretty good..
you can't expect it to look same as on photo paper, fabric's soak in inks, while photo realistic materials have a coats so inks stay above material and not let it soak in.
Only thing I can think of is that pre treat stuff for white garment that help inks pentrate material less leaving a more vibrant result
I'm not expecting photo realistic paper result, but I was wondering if someone else is getting other results, who knows the tricks that some of you might have under the sleeve or may be not. but some shades of skin appear with distracting amounts of noise ( to me more serious than to my costumers), so I thought someone in the forums might have other results, or the same and would like to comment.
Theres a great article in the SGIA journal this month by Dane Clement that might help you out ,we have read many of his articles and taken many of his classes and all has helped us make all of our artwork better including photos.By the way what do your customers think of the photo work you do?I find that even when we are not happy with our work the customers seem to love them.

To get better contrast photoshop wise with image, I suggest messing with levels, add about 10 on contrast, lower brightness by 7 and do a saturation of 3
