Print On T

Hi all, i need help for my GT-541. problem with yellow nozel,.
i have replace wiper, clean head, individual, auto, LOL even half of the cartridge of yellow ink is gone...
when i did print test every color is fine but only yellow is always the like come out in center of the bar, amount like 1/3 of the bar..(many time print test still come out the same)
i spoke with Brother, they tell me to send head back, now kinda scare me.. they said is head only need to plush then 169.00 if need replace then 900.00
and if new 1 will be more....
so if any members out there have same problem oh any advise, im very appreciate.. oh btw im in Westminster CA, 92683

I had this problem once, yellow ink tube was not hooked up to yellow print head correctly. Just detached/attached tube, problem was solved. Good luck

you've done cleanings, but have you gone in with the cleaning swabs and a flash light?

Usually when I have this problem, I clean 3 or 4 times....then frustration sets in and I call "Rich" my Brother GT541 guy....he tells me "Clean it again" lol

This is usually when I get in there and get a bit more aggressive with my cleaning. The last one I did, I pulled gunk out of places I didnt know gunk could accumulate. With that gunk were those almost invisible long pieces of fuzz.

So....lift the lid of your machine and get to cleaning. Everywhere! Even the bar that the print head slides across. You just dont know where that one piece of lint is that is causing the skipping.

Do you have a tech close by that you can call to have them come and look at it if all the cleaning doesnt work?

My gt-541 is having major black printing issues, the black printhead seems to not be filling again once it uses all the ink it holds. The tube appears to be empty also. I have tried, powerful cleaning, initial cleaning, replaced the print head and still nothing. any ideas? please help!

look like u got prolems with 5 pin wire between printhead n print board.. to do this try to take off 1 of the 5 pin wire from the 1 working then change that to the printhead not working.... so if workin then u know.. just call near brother service to order 1x of 5pin wire, is not much.. gl...
