Fashion Redux

I was looking at some Sunday flyers the other day, and I thought, "Please God, NO!". I saw an advert for tights and a big potato sack looking top that had draw strings at the bottom. Most fashion comebacks I can put up with, but not tights. Tights bring back vivid memories of fat women pushing them beyond their boundries with big poofy hair (The Mall Claw). I don't want to relive those times. The only thing worse than that, is if they bring back bicycling shorts for men. Ugh!

| |  Okay, I love the thought of Prommy riding a bike with flames flying behind him as he goes, kind of like Ghostrider. I love Nick Cage, so I can enjoy any movie he does. Raising Arizona will ALways be one of my top favorite flicks.... Leggings are an awesome fashion accessory ---> for little girls! They are adorable. But, ohhh man, I never liked them on my friends or girls in high school, or worse yet - the ladies at work!! Noooo, please tell me it won't catch on twice!! I'm still mystified by today's jeans trend. I don't get it. ???? |

| | My daughter LOVES leggins. Currently, she does not have any, but she has made it known. Raising Arizona is a hilarious movie, and ditto on Nick Cage, I've always liked him since Valley Girl (but I think Fast Times comes first). My wife doesn't get Raising Arizona. Randal Tex Cobb was also a great actor in that movie. |
