Discussion, tips, pictures, reviews and peer to peer support for current and future owners of Belquette manufactured machines, including the MOD-1 DTG machine and the Flexi-Jet set series of printers.
The mod2 has 2 modules back to back. You can set it up in several ways:
1. First Mod - White Ink / Second Mod - Dual CMYK
2. First Mod - CMYK W / Second Mod - Eco-Solvent Inks
3. First Mod - Dual CMYK / Second Mod - Eco-Solvent Inks

What's the difference guys? Got any info for us.. any flyers?
In a couple of days our newly developed website will be released that will have better information and details about the mod series.
At last, our current site really needed a serious face lift..(Nip and Tuck kind) we knew it needed, but all our energy have been focused on development and engineering.
Thank you,

Come on man, drop us some videos ;-)
Well, I'd like to, but every time one goes out the door, I'm forfeiting my machine. Up until these units are in full production, mine is just a heartbeat away.....
I thought Renee had announced on the forums, quite some time ago, that these machines were in production already? What do you mean by "full production"? Are the field users still BETA testing?

Full Production means they have been short staffed for a while. They just hired a few guys and are training.
If only the print area were bigger. Unfortunately, that most likely takes it out of my market, at the moment, unless I can come up with a niche for it.
After a day and a half of running the MOD 1 in production I can say its living up to the speed and print quality claims.
Here are some numbers I have got:
4x4 pocket print 2 passes on white shirt - 35 seconds from hitting start to the shirt being done
9x4 chest print 2 passes on white shirt - 55 seconds from start to finish
12.5 x 15 print 1 white 1 color pass on black shirt - 4:15 seconds from start to finish.
It definately blows my T-Jet blazers away in speed.
Thanks for the update! Can you post some pictures of the machine / printed product? Also, 4:15 for a dark garment seems pretty slow.... Isn't that less than 15 dark shirts per hour? I have not owned Epson based machines in awhile, but it seems that is slower than what the HM1 seemed to print at (I HAVE NOT SEEN THE HM1 SINCE A TRADE SHOW, AWHILE BACK, SO I AM JUST SAYING WHAT I SEEM TO NOTICE; I COULD BE WRONG). Of course, I would need to see other machines print a similar 188 sq. in. image size.
I don't want to come off as a critic, but I know that's how some people take direct comparisons. I simply want to get a real feel for how quick this machine is; I remember many conversations with Mark where I was told a dark shirt with a standard sized image would be printed in under a minute (that may have been on the Mod-2, which is why I have been pushing to see it for so long).
