Discussion, tips, pictures, reviews and peer to peer support for current and future owners of Belquette manufactured machines, including the MOD-1 DTG machine and the Flexi-Jet set series of printers.
I have been looking over an hour for print times for the flexijet L. I cannot find anything. Actually, I couldn't tell what the manufacture website was. I had a guess but it was so bad, I left. Is this machine as fast as the HM1 DTG? I know it's bigger, but that HM1 is impressive. I can have 2 HM1's and it's as fast as the DTG bullet. I might as have two machines in case of a breakdown. That is why I was looking at the flexijet to find out speeds on that. It think it's about as fast as a bullet but am not sure.
With our Flexi L we print about 30-35 shirts per hour on light garments. It can be a higher as it is possible to print four shirts per pass- and you would need two heat presses to keep up with curing. The DTGInks we use cure at 350F for 60 seconds. With other inks needing 120 seconds cure time, you'd need to factor that in.
Tote bags we can print 90 an hour, four per pass of the printer.
I don't print with white ink myself, but approximately 12-15 large full coverage prints per hour depending on how many you select to print per pass.
Thanks a ton. I thought that was their website. It's such a bad website I couldn't tell. I heard their printers make up for the bad website though. I will review them and see what I think!!!

Ya, website development is not our forte and has been on our list for quite a while now, we spend most of our energy in R@D in pursuit of developing better solutions.

I can understand that. Could you give me the specs though? What capacity can this unit do? 1 shirt, 3 shirts 6 shirts? What plattens are available? What print engine is it?
It would be great to know all this before making a decision.

Just to update. I went with the Flexi L. I liked the flexibility and the speed. Very smooth. I didn't get to try with black but I am excited to get it Monday!! I can't wait. We need it. Buried with work!!!

Great decision! Check your Private Messages for more details on training and support.
So how many shirts can you do at a time with the flexi jet L?
When I was printing heavly I would use my 4-up platen and knock out around 60 light colored shirts per hour and using my conveyor dryer to cure them. The 4-up platen back them was 11" x 14", when doing a left chest logo you could not keep up with the printer.
