Man! Servo motor error! It ain't gonna move. Barely moves home, will not move forward to print position.
Tried greasing the screw and rails- no go.
WTF?!!?
It was printing couple days ago.
Could be your power supply is going bad I have seen a few with this problem recently, you can get the information off the "Other" forum.

Not a recommended procedure, please give us a call.
FYI: The servo motor that moves the base is designed to move the intended load (printer) with a bit of overhead, if it senses an abnormally higher load it will fault thereby protected itself but more importantly the user. Keeping the linear systems correctly lubed will insure that the fiction stays in spec.
When encountering the servo error there are a few things you can try ( though if the power supply failing is the problem this won't work.)
Turn off printer and base. Carefully clean and lube the rails.
Clean the screw drive from the very front all the way to the very back, and then lube generously especially where it connects at the front and at the back and printer. Turn base on and wait 1 minute, then turn printer on and wait one minute. Press the green button and see if it will move forward /back without servo error.
It is possible you might need to manually turn the screw drive to move the printer home- then turn on in sequence, you can try it again.
If this does not work you can also loosen the rail screws and try to run the printer forward and back with the rails loose. If this has success, then very gently tightening them back, run it forward and back and see if the servo error remains gone- if not loosen more again.
gx-24 gives motor error sometimes bad position though pinch roller are at correct position
Thanks for your input, I believe you are referring to the Rolland GX-24 vinyl sign cutter plotter as an analogy.
The Flexi servo system is quite different from the Rolland architecture.
I'm sure his printer has been fixed a while back as this post is close to a year old.
I know this is a really old link, but I just picked up a machine second hand and am getting in set up and am having this exact problem. However, after I manually move the screw and press the green button to get it back to the home base, the LED readout still says "caution machine moving home" and it still says that... I try to make prints and of course the machine isnt moving over the platen but continually going over the same piece of paper/ fabric and not doing much of anything but creating a big blob of ink mess....

You may have to replace your power supply.

Where can I order one? Price? And how fast can I get it to Colorado?
You can just purchase one from you local computer store as it is a laptop power supply, just match it up with the current one once you take it
apart.
