Default Any Flexi-jet users in here. Need advice on machine.

Looking for some advice from Flexi-jet users. After lurking on this board and others for about a year, I will be getting the Flexi-jet L this week. I Will be looking to get little details to help with getting good prints.
I have been a computer tech for about 10 years so I understand how the machine works. I have the Hotronix auto heat press from AA for about a year now and it works great. I have been using PC61 and Gildan 2000 t-shirts for heat transfers. I want to be able to get good black shirts or dark shirts.

Where are you located?

I suggest, once you get your machine, you join the Flexi-Jet Users forum (you have to go through AA. Next, you join the dtginks.com Flexi-Jet forums. There is a ton of good info on those sites.

I personally don't print with white ink at this time (I use a Roland Versacamm for printed vinyl on darks), but the info is out there and there are some who are doing it successfully.

If you have any specific questions beforehand, post away!

Eric

Watt,

Constructed of quality materials.
Build quality excellent.

For any other questions I would see how the distributor answers you questions.
As for what questions to ask, here’s a good start.
how to buy a direct to garment printer or "as visions of sugarplums danced in their head"

Or you can go here:
Screenprinting and Digital Garment Printing University

Thanks everyone for the replies.
One question, I will be picking the printer up this friday in Philly and would like to know if it will fit in the back of a Toyota 4runner with the back seats down.
I am in North Carolina also.

Wow- in the original crate would be tough. Taken out of all the boxes might be do-able.

Hi Mistewoods, it will not be in the crate because I am buying it from another user and he is taking it to AA to get it a new print head also to get it recertified. I will be taking the Flexi-jet class at AA on Friday so we are doing the exchange there.
