Default Flexi-Jet Pretreatment on shirts

Hi don here. I just got a black sample from Flexi-Jet and the image is not bad i kind of like it. However on the front is a stiff feeling to the image and the surrounding area, I assume this is the pretreatment chemical. Will the pretreatment on the surrounding area wash out or soften up any. Other than that it seems to be a good quality print. Time to go wash it a few times though.. Thanks again for your help

The pretreatment process makes the ink "sit" on the fabric rather than sinking onto it. This is necessary for the white ink. A DTG print on dark doesn't have the ultra soft "no hand" feel that it does on lights but the extra pretreatment surrounding the print area should go away in a wash or 2.
