Default printing on latex swim caps?

Got a job to print latex swim caps, can't find a suitable ink? Anyone printed on them before?
Cheers Rudi.

Did you ever find an answer to this? I was asked to do a few for a local swim team but I think I am going to have to turn them down as I couldn't get any definite answers on how to do this.

I called a couple of places posing as a customer but they wouldn't give it up.
I also called the place that I buy inks from and they offered a house brand ink but told me I would have to test to see if it works. It was $44 a quart so I passd on that option.
If it worked I would have gotten it but they didn't even no if it would have held up.

Union Process Supply out of Ohio I think makes Rubber Ink. You definitely need a rubber ink. Nazdar and most major ink suppliers do not make an ink that will stick to ruibber.

That said, printing swim caps sucks. It's really no fun. Posters are fun. Stickers are fun. Shirts are fun. Swim caps... no fun. Unless there is a gip of cash in it, pass. Plent of cap suppliers offer it anyways.
