I know they aren't in Melbourne but I recently bought some rhinestones from Rhinestones and Threads as as my overseas supplies had been held up. Very shiny stones. Rhinestones and Threads

Hope this helps.

Hi
I got some, lots about 5000 gross all up, from Rhinestones and Threads, Janet and Tim on here, They were very nice and a great price. They are getting more in each week so just email and let them know you are a forum member and buying in bulk? and you may get a discount. They are getting in Rhinestuds too I am happy about that. They also have the other bits you need or are getting them in. Hartco and transfer tape...YIPPY finally someone in OZ stocking our needs Their site is www.rhinestonesandthreads.com.au

Cheers

Hi
Just thought I would add something here...I am not sure what everyone here in Aus is using for backing for the rhinestone templates, but I looked for the foam board and nearly fell over when I found it. A piece of A4 size was $2.99.. Wow our US friends are paying a dollar for a much larger piece. Well I have a friend who does framing and he is just giving me his scrap pieces which would otherwise end upin the bin. It has a sticky side and a none sticky side so you can use whichever side you like or do the wrapping in tape trick. I would think that if you approach your local framer they would happily give you thier off cuts which are a great size for templates and useless to them. If you need larger you could ask to buy a sheet or locate your local frame supply shop... Here in the west it is in Osborne Park but I would think that most large regional centres would have a wholesaler.

Hope this helps someone out

Great idea! Thanks janet! BTW, I got my parcel and am very happy with it Thanks for your great service. It's hard in the beginning getting good suppliers you can depend on. Please let us know when new stock arrives. I am looking for the studs for guy's T-shirts. Maybe even a Facebook page?

Glad your goodies arrived and you are please...Happy stoning
I should be getting my supply of rhinestuds within two weeks, I will keep you updated. I have thought about facebook but I am flat out with everything else, but it is on the "to do" list.
Just a reminder for everyone to back up your computer work daily and keep it in a seperate building. We were broken into and they took my laptop with my entire business on.... Not backed up recently... Lesson learnt. They did not know the value of everything because they left lots of things but they did take lots and lots.... So please everyone back up your stuff daily and take it home, if you work from home take it to a friends place.
Cheers

OMG! A business's worst nightmare! What is even better than backing it up and storing it at a friend's place is storing it in the clouds. I have a yearly subscription with Carbonite,
Link: carbonite.com.au
Unlimited storage, will automatically back up folders you choose daily, doesn't slow down your computer and your files can be downloaded from ANY computer.
It costs $72 per year. I think it's cheap insurance!
If you are anything like me, intention was always to back up but never did often enough. This way I don't have to think about it. I hope you can get back on track soon.

Hi Dora
I was just on Rhinestones and threads web site and noticed that they now have Rhinestuds too. Heaps of colours in 2 sizes... I will be putting my order in soon for some. My boys are hounding me for skulls and cross bones and things I guess it is a boy thing
