Default hardener problems

Hello Kababayans. I'm new here. I've just started my own shirt printing business. So far so good. All the problems i encountered helped me a lot. ^^, learned a lot from them. Except this problem that I'm stuck in.

"How do i clean the screens which has glue+sensitizer emulsion and hardener on it?"

I've wasted so many screens already and the high meshes cost a lot =( please help a newbie...

I tried to many ways, but still am not able to solve the problem.

If you can help, please tell me what hardener to use next time and where to buy and how to remove it.. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated..

SALAMAT!!! =)

Yeah, screens with Photo Hardener will be hard to reclaim.

Try using Tulco Photo Emulsion (ready mix) and do not apply photo hardener on it if the job is not that bulk or just carefully clean the ink from the screen by washing it with running water and sponge, dry and re-use for printing.

Do this and reclaim your screens by using Emulsion Stripper.

Hope this help.

I agree bro, not all will be applicable.

With regards Sir Bebo, many thanks if you could help. Kindly state not just the process but also will you be kind to inform details of what type/brand of emulsion in which you are using, same with the P.hardener and screens.

Tried that removal with bleach before, in which I am removing Tulco and Perma emulsions, hardened it with Tulco Hardener. Mesh I used are 150 and 305 Poly. The bleach has no effect with Emulsion on screen.

My method was to wet a garment with bleach as well as wet the screen with bleach also. Then using the bleach garment to cover the screen for 15 mins and scrub the screen afterwards.... sorry for me I did not reclaim the screen.

I don't know if you have experienced the same.

I applied JJ's Photo Hardener to my new screens with Tulco PE, the oddest thing happened to my screens is that it got disintegrated when i washed the screens.

this is my metod of reclaiming the screens using bleach
i reclaimed 7pcs screens in just 1 hour kaylangan lang gawin mo ng continous hwag mo hayaang mag sink in yung imulsion pag natunaw na sya tuloy lang ang kuskus tapos banlaw agad sa tubig kapag kasi kapag kasi pag natunaw yung imulsion tumitigas sya ulit sa screen kapag kapag pinabayaan mo pa ng ilang oras di ako gumagamit ng basahan para pang babad ng bleech im using imulsion from pioneer kahit ready mix ng tulco pwede

i use my screen over and over pinapalitan ko lang kapag accidentaly nabutas gamit ko tulco screen 80 to 120 mesh nakakapag bura din ako hanggang 200 mesh. may mga screen na rumurupok sa bleech yung nylon na nabibili sa jj virgo. kung gusto nyo mapanatili yung tension ng screen pahiran nyo yung gilid ng frame sa may staples ng tiratira o lumang pintura
