FastFilms, QuikSeps, Spot Process, Easy Art... Your Opinion?
Hello everyone!
These softwares/plugins (FastFilms, QuikSeps, Spot Process, Easy Art, etc) came around for years now. And I am so optimistic to hear what really people would say about their experiences in use with these plug-ins. For which be best considering to choose and make good use of.
Found a video about showcasing Quikseps in demo and I find it very interesting especially with the image enhancement and separation process.
Some resource says FastFilms works great. Some does it with SP.
The thing is do these things really worth the money? Will it really do the works for beginners or just with the pros?
Hoping that this will gonna be a helpful open discussion in regards.

Well FastFilms is US Screen, and they are no longer in business...I have used the software, but not sure what to say for you for support if you found it somewhere. I own EasyArt, I like it...bottom line, it really helps to have a pretty good photoshop knowledge to fully utilize any of the sep software. Just my opinion! Beginer or pro-just a good knowledge of screen mesh-photoshop-screenprinting-ink, is helpful.

I have quick seps and easy art, and I have tried fast films a lot....
I like quick seps the most, followed by fast films. If you do not know photoshop very well, neither will do any good.

I've used all of them myself and Quikseps seems to be the clear winner. Easy to use, does alot of things and the seps are pretty darn good without much tweaking. Another great feature of Quikseps is I can put it on all my computers and not pay extra. That includes Macs and PC's. Great support too if you need it.

You should give the VueRite demo a try. It isn't a plug in, but a stand alone program. I am trying it now and I like it. They let you use it for 30 days so you have time to get to know the program. If you aren't used to using graphics programs you might find it confusing, I think their manual could be a little better, but it is OK. You have to have Corel or Illustrator for output and you have to have your files saved in tiff or corel to open them in the program.
