Default embroidery

I want to start a new business in the Manila, Philippines.
There is not much thread about embroidery in the Philippines so I am creating one.I need opinion before plunging myself into embroidery. What do I need to know before going into this and any supplier of the machine in the Philippines?. How much will it cost? Machine brand which is good for a start up. Any info will be greatly appriciated. Thanks

Hi Jo,

I have a small embroidery shop and I own Barudans. I believe they are the best. They are more expensive than others but you get great support and a product that will last many years. I know shops running them that are 20 years old and more. Here is the contact info I got off the international site for the Philippines.
POWERSTITCH INC.

It is determined on how much will you be investing... allocated capital?

If unlimited sense, then go for multi-heads computerized embroidery machines: Barudan, Happy, Tajima, Reachpeace, etc.

These machines will cost you. ROI: 2 - 3 years.

Tajima Philippines is the best here..IMHO..They are listed in the yellow pages so you can contact them. Look for Lester Chua and tell him I "gave out" his name, .

I will be happy to give you what advice I can. Visiting the shop may be hard though as it is in my home in the US.

Sir Joseph, the distributor will give you lessons for free when you buy from them. It's not really difficult when you have a background in Corel Draw already. Then offcourse, experience will be your best teacher. Good luck!
