Hello fellow digital printers, this coming payday im planning to buy CISS for my R290,an Indian supplier here in Dubai offering me for 350Dhs around 4,200 pesos with ink, compared to my supplier which is Kabayan yong sales rep.binibigay sa akin ng 800Dhs with ink halos doble,I think same size at parang mas maganda lang yong pinaka casing nya.
Hi chard,
Convert ko ung R290 ko as dye sublimation printer para sa light fabrics,I have also 3 in 1 ng Epson with DuraBrite ink gamitin ko for Blue grid for dark and Transjet for light pero d ko alam kung recomended to but I have try mukhang ok naman, or I will stick with R290 as inkjet printer?tnx

i agree with chard, even for an r230 printer never use dye sub inks for those photo printers. it'll be pain in the butt. i have my first printer using dye sub in a cx5500 and gave a lot of concerns. now im not using it anymore (just for scanning though). trust me, you'll do a lot in a pigment based printer, not just for tshirts.
Now I change my plan thank you for your concern,Im planning to switch on laser printing and I am impress on printing quality of OKIC5800.Please share your experiences on this printer, again my concern is good quality and of course profitable.thanks
i read in some post that oki laser printers is the best when it comes to transfer paper..laser transfer papers have more vivid colors than inkjet and last longer according to what ive read..
they have vivid color after press but all most the same with inkjet after wash. I tried several paper for laser printer and inkjet and they have advantages and disadvantages. Laser is good if you print a lot of transfer paper in a day, i liked techni-print by neenah & duracotton ht. But in opaque i dont like all of them inkjet printer is best for opaque paper. These are my opinion based on my experiments.
