Hello my fellow pinoy printers,
I finally decided to join this forum (after lurking for quite sometime). I would like to know for those who have attended already the negoskwela seminar for silkscreen printing, is it really worth it? I'm planning to attend this July but before enrolling I'd like to know if they give you a hands on about the lesson and will it cover basically everything about screen printing (incl art preparation and how to print them). Bk kasi puro theories lang and end up still asking for more. I'm just new to this and always wanted to try it out. BTW are there any other institutions that you can recommend that teaches comprehensive screen printing? Appreciate all the help.

Kabayan just watch video tutorial in youtube about silkscreen...marami sa internet na mga video tutorial.

I agree, you can learn almost everything about screenprinting online... or just ask them in this forum
I myself learned a lot from just surfing online and asking questions from different forums. I enrolled also in negoskwela seminar just to get professional tips for my screenprinting hobby, but most of the lessons taught there, I already know by just reading stuffs..

It is true that you can learn a lot, if not all from surfing the net and watching youtube, all in all it depends on the person. But if you prefer an actual hands on, to get the feel for it. you could enroll in negoskwela or apprentice in a silkscreen shop.

I think it will be best to make one your self...spand less money doing so in process. The only problem is to find directions Menual of basic machine, and from there on, go ahead look for parts for assembly, and make it work the way those expansive machines out there do.

I don't but the picture speck its self...I am working on that, so far I collected few images of different machines and all of them looks different from each other, but all of them works as the same. I am going to try see If I can create my self, using a material which is not too hard to find.
I am good in art and Drafting, as far as concerning to actually making it, its a different story, but I will try...I'll let you know when I am done it. Also I was hopping some one bight know where can I find INFO Online how to make it...

why dont you try to buy your photo emulsion in tulco infront of SM centerpoint, they are also selling ready mix. All you need to do is just to apply it to your screen and expose around 4-5 min. and i think 500watts is good enough w/ 12inch distance.
