Hi, I'm newbie from Cebu. I've been lurking around and I've finally made up my mind to start my own t-shirt printing business. What brand can you recommend for heat transfer printing that won't burn a very big hole on the pockets?

hi everyone. i just started screenprinting manually and i would like to know where i can buy stencil remover as i intend to reuse my screens. i do get not much when i buy a bottle of emulsion. i hope to get a bottle or a box of stencil remover, like a separate purchase.

hope someone replies. thanks.

hi cj..welcome to tshirt forums..i personally use bleach as my umulsion remover..its a lot cheaper but effective..i just put bleach on both sides of the screen then soak it for 5mins then wash..hope it helps..

you can also buy stripper from tulco or virgo. you can ask them for direction on how to use it

all my screen printing supplies come from printworks and im wary that there's some sort of compatibility when it comes to emulsion used and emulsion remover. but if there's none, ill double check with those suppliers. my boyfriend said a container of stencil remover is always attached to the emulsion and there's no way i could get a separate stencil remover. i thought there should be another way.

thanks for this. ill ask those suppliers for supplies.

if im not mistaken i think the one attached to the bottle of emulsion is the sensitizer(usually orange in color) when you buy one that is not yet premixed.

im sorry for using "attached" instead of "with". from printworks, when you buy emulsion, what's attached is the sensitizer in black plastic. and the package comes with a stencil remover. from what i understood kasi, the only way to get the stencil remover is to buy the whole emulsion package. hehe. i have to double check with them if they sell a separate one.

tried using bleach, didn't leave it soaked in the water for 5 mins, only for a short period of time but it seemed to wash away the color. so next time, i'll do it at the specified time period. if this works, then i won't need to get a stencil stripper from a store anymore.

also, does anyone here know where to buy screens and pallette kasi we don't create one, we buy from a specific person. kaya lang his location is cainta, rizal which is quite far. if anyone here is a supplier, let me know. thanks.

also, just curious, can you recommend a supplier in metro manila for a manual screenprinting machine tabletop, for 4 to 5 colors, and small enough to fit a small room. im considering to get one next year. the cheapest i saw was from china, around 50k for 4 colors. but of course that doesnt include the bank charges and shipping.

bleach works for me 100% all the time..hehe
pede la siguro pagawa ng pallete sa mga nagwo2od crafts..sabihin mo lng yung dimensions..kayang kaya nila yun..hehe sa 4color screen printing, ang alam ko may DIY na version yun e..papatak lng yta nsa 10k..search mo na lng..hehe
