If you have a clothing line and outsource your printing in California, you may want to read this thread closely!
I was leaning heavily towards using plastisol transfers or outsourcing the printing until I read about the garment manufacturing registration requirements in California. I contacted the DIR and was informed I would need to register as a garment manufacturer if I contract with any other manufacturer. I am not sure if this is simply a minor speed bump or time to change direction.
This next contest is always interesting to watch. Since there are no "nominees" and all members with more than 100 posts were eligible to win, the votes get spread out among a few members.
BobbieLee (sunnydayz) joined the T-ShirtForums family in June of 2007. Over the years, she has helped hundreds (if not thousands) of members with questions about blank t-shirt brands for kids, graphic design software, heat press supplies and more. As a DTG machine owner, she has shared her experiences over the years by helping out other current and potential machine owners. Her thread that surveys DTG machine owners "What DTG machine do you own and how did you make your decision on it " has been viewed over 16,000 times and has helped countless people evaluate the investment in a direct to garment printer by reading honest reviews from current DTG machine owners.
When BobbieLee isn't helping out other DTG machine owners in the Direct to Garment section of the forums, you can find her relaxing with her trusty camera in her photography thread in the TF Lounge
