For those that were interested in the 2nd place design from last year's design contest theme of "Community" by Andrew of EternylStudios, we've found a printer that is ready to tackle the design

We're doing it pre-order style for this design. Click on the t-shirt to pre-order:

Once we've collected enough for the pre-order, I'll email everyone who ordered to get their sizes.

If you're curious about the costs of getting all over/oversized printing like this done:

The printer's minimum order for an all over/oversized design like this is 144 pieces, and the cost per print (including the navy American Apparel style 2001 garments, separations, films, setup, and a 4 color water based ink screenprinting for each print) is about $13 each. The designer (Andrew from eternyl.com) will get $5 per t-shirt sold, and the rest will go towards shipping the t-shirts out.

One other note about how Fundable works:

The t-shirt will only get printed if there are enough pre-orders. If there's not enough interest, then nobody pays. The fundable "pre-order" is more like a "pledge" to pay in the event that we get enough people to order.

So far we've only had 18 pre-orders (out of 144 needed).

Only 2 days left to pre-order.

Unfortunately, due to the costs to get a complex design like this printed, if we don't have enough pre-orders, we won't be able to get this t-shirt printed.

I've got my order in, how about you?

Unfortunately we didn't get enough pre-orders to get this design printed.

Because of the higher costs of getting all over printing like this done, I couldn't offer this second place design as a "free" t-shirt like we do for the 1st place design each year in our design contests.

It also made more sense to do a pre-order so there wouldn't be any wasted inventory by printing up lots of t-shirts that may or may not sell. With a minimum printing order of 144 pieces and a cost per print of $13 each, it made more sense to rely on the demand for the t-shirt

All pre-orders have been automatically canceled by the fundable.com service that was used to collect the orders.
