I had a design printed out on a basic white tee. The design came out pretty good, but the black looks real faded. I'm not sure it was the setting or something, but how do your prints come out? does the black look black? or does it look more like a charcoal grey? i believe the setting used was medium 3 or something. i forgot.
Larry, You might also check your color space and pallete in the program you are printing/exporting from.

yea a double pass usually looks A LOT better.
i had some samples printed from the Anajet office in Costa Mesa, so i dont think their printer had any problems. I'm guessing its just the way they come out? Slightly faded, and not fully 98% black. I think i would even be satisfied with 90% black. To me, it looks washed out and 80% black.
Sometimes a double pass wont help because i wouldnt want to re print the other colors (just the black).

Just duplicate your file and remove the color leaving only the black. Open 2 of the EK program and place the files in the exact same location.
If your original is a bitmap, then this would be more difficult, but if it's vector, then it's really easy. I had to do this on a shirt when the Text1 setting was great for the color, but the black needed to be Vivid.
I have just printed black on white with med 3 vivid and the black came out great until I pressed the shirt then it did not look so good as the fibers had been pressed and it looked like the ink bled over the edge of the text,so I have now learnt to press first to lay the fibers down
