I would Like to know if anyone knows what the pretreatment is????????? I tried some liquid starch, and it didn't work. I just thought that maybe we could find some pretreatment for a Cheaper price..... If anyone knows what this is please share this with us..........I Love my Anajet..... Just not the price of the INKS and Pretreatment.........

Pre treatment is a very important part of the process printing dark shirts. It is a basic mixture of chemicals but it does need to be done in exact measures. If you find your current supplier to expensive bear in mind most pre treatments work with all inks sets.

Michelle,
Like I said in your other post, if you've ordered it before from any company, you have a right and obligation to have a copy of the MSDS sheet. Just ask and they'll send to you at no cost. On this sheet it will list most of the chemicals (though not the ratios). That being said, on most designs you should be using 30 to 50 cents of pretreatment per garment if you are applying and diluting it properly... not much if you concider that the white ink is 400-500% more expensive. The fluid for the Anajet is designed to dilute by half with distiled water. You can buy it pre diluted, but you're paying to ship water that you can get locally. Just get the real stuff and save the frustration of getting it wrong and losing a customer.

for some reason Anajet isn't sending me the Price Sheet for me to order the products I need. I've asked for it and I've talked to Craneman and he told me he asked for 3 weeks before they sent him his Price Sheet. As for the MSDS sheet they said they don't have anything like that. It's like they got my money for the MACHINE and now they don't know me. When I call the Sales person we bought It from I have to leave messages and emails, and hope he calls me back. I can tell you this it took him 3 days to call me back or to email me back when it never took him but maybe 10 minutes tops to get back to me. He the sales person said that my emails or going in his spam folder for some reason, and he doesn't know why. I do because I called him out on his LIES. I can't stand a Lier, just be honest with me tell me the truth, and everything will be ok. Craneman & I talked and things we were told that now we know were lies or things they forgot to tell us, and now we have to figure it out for our sleves.
I like the Anajet Sprint Printer, just not the COMPANY.

Michelle,
Not sure if you're are dealing with a distributor closer to your area or directly with Anajet. If the sales staff is not meeting your needs, perhaps you just need to go directly to cusomer service. I havn't delt with my sales person since the begining but for a few times. There's really no excuse for he or she to not meet your needs, but perhaps that's just not how things work, and you need to talk with the right people. As far as the MSDS sheets, most likely they are required by your local laws to have on hand, and Anajet does have them. They can either be faxed, mailed, or e-mailed to you. when I asked, they prefered to mail them and I've gotten them 2 times over the last 3 years or so. I'm sorry that you're having problems with this. If you call Anajet directly, and ask the receptionist to put you through to someone (tell them what you need, and you need it quick), and explain that you've left voicemails and such, you will get results. I think if the higher-up understand that the sales staff is not properly handling these issues, they will fix the problem. I have not logged into their support site or their forum lately, but the info you need may already be there, and if not... you could ask that it be available there. If you are not registered for their on-line support, I recomend that you do that. This is very valuable... and you will be "plugged in" to the way they have things set up and your requests will be going through the proper channels.
PS: I looked on my MSDS for the pretreat, and this is what is listed. I'm not sure if the water content is before or after you dilute or not. That would be a good question.
65-85% water
10-20% inorganic Nitrate
5 to 15% acrylic Polymer
<.02% formandehyde

I had a friend who sold cleaning products to big company's. He would get a sample of what they used, send it to a local lab to get ingredients and % then have a local company mfg. it and under sell the competition. Not sure it worth it to save 20 cents on a shirt. John
