Are any Anajet users using the ink from DTGInk.com? They claim their "Exact" formula is the same ink from Dupont that Anajet is repackaging. What bothers me is their posted cure times are different.
Just curious to know if anyone is using them, and what the result has been.

Reason: The company name was incorrect.
What bothers me is DTG's cure times are different.
I think you could find different cure times from the majority of the manufacturers and distributors for the same brand of ink. Some like to have a higher temperature and lower cure time - while others may have problems at the higher temperatures scorching or discoloring the color garments and use the lower temperatures / longer times. Think of this like a teeter totter with temperature on one end and time on the other. The higher the temperature --> the lower the time and the opposite would also apply.
When I do consulting with a new dtg printer, we actually create specific cure times based on the brand of shirt, the ink, the resolution being printed and the heat press settings (time, temperature and pressure). Changing any of these factors can change the final results.
The important thing to remember is that the cure settings are just recommendations and you need to find the right balance as to what works best for you.
I have talked in past with people who used DTG inks and seemed to have worked fine with them.
it def. is cheaper and bulk in carts. arent to pricey, you just need to keep bottle half full but you'll save a third the price on ink : )
You know Sean, Anajet inks are Dupont inks relabeled, all you gotta do is buy bulk ink cart. which are like $15 or $20 a Cart. and just buy Dupont inks and you will get same results as you are now at a fraction of cost...

Smart thing to do in my mind ; )
I agree, but I have a year left on my warranty, and Anajet is very strict regarding 3rd party inks. Only reason.
I'm currently using 2 bulk ink cartridges and the refillable dtg inks and have 2 anajet cartridges working with them and am printing great shirts. From what I can tell the inks are "exact" just like they specify and the prints are showing it. I'm only printing on white shirts though, not sure if that matters. Once the 2 anajet cartridges run out I'll be converting those colors over to the refillable.
