Default off center

My anajet prints of to the right by a half inch
how can I adjust this, its driving me crazy.
when I ask the "tech" he sead its so the printer can get the edge, but I don't like that answer
is there a way to move the platen?

Ken

If you need you can call Karl Tripe at 1-714-366-5275 maybe he can help you. That's who I'm talking to about the Anajet Sprint.

yes it must not be easy to align, as I have had this problem for some time. I know there is a setting in EK and thats fine, I just need to fine the correct setting, but this should be set correctly at the factory. its not a $200 printer :O(

Ken, In EK (at the top) go to configuration/System, where it shows horizontal device offset, enter the number there to compensate. Ken, what I did, was to print a grid that I could center in photoshop or corel. Print this on a scrap, note how much off center you are and enter the number to correct. Have not had to touch it again. Also, using the same grid system, I can put this in a non printing layer in Corel or photoshop, so I can line up elements to specific areas on my platen
