Default Any Anajet owner/operators in the South Florida area?

Hi,
I would like to speak to an owner/operator in the South Florida Area...
I would like to observe your process and possibly ask a few questions.
I am a designer/graphic artist and would be happy to return the favor! Please send me a message with a phone number and a good time to call...

Thanks!

Hey Ken,
Thanks for writting! Actually, I am considering buying the new Anajet Sprint machine, I had my mind made up to get the Brother, but was always concerned about the lack of white ink. I then heard that Anajet had come out with this newer model that made the maintinence easier making the machine more dependable for a non-technical novice who might not be as active (busy) with the machine at first. I thought I should get as good a look as I could at the Anajet product. Any thoughts, opinions or comments would be very helpfull for me as I am still (a little) on the fence.

Steve,

Please don't get caught up in any sales / marketing pitch. If you are looking at any dtg printer that is based off an Epson printer, you are going to have to do maintenance. Ask the owners that have been around long enough and they will probably tell you it is daily maintenance. Even with these new white ink circulation or automatic cleaning software, you still have to keep your maintenance station, wiper blade, enconder strip and other key items clean. When you put white ink into a printer, the maintenance increases significantly. Also make sure you understand fully what the automatic cleaning software programs do and how much (if any) ink is wasted / lost each time the program begins.

I make these statements in general about all Epson-based dtg printers - not one in specific. Great progress has been made in the past couple of years to make them more user friendly, but you don't want them to sit for several days. If you don't have enough business or available time to keep it printing, find someone that has one and get them to outsource the work for you. There are too many unfortunate stories of people that did not do enough research and now have a piece of equipment that does not match their business model.

Best wishes in your future decision(s),

Mark

P.S. Have you contacted Mike at Best Blanks (Ft. Lauderdale area). They are or were an Anajet distributor. They might have a customer that you can speak with.
