Default Printing Dark and Light shirts

Hi peoples.
I've looked around and I haven't found anything on this. This might be common sense to some of you, but bare with me. I'm new.

So the Anajet printers can print color and white. I was just wondering how that works. If you were to print on a light shirt with color. would you have to clean out the system befoer you can print with white ink? or can you just print automatically after you finish the color ink.

for example, say I wanted to print out 2 shirts. One on white, and one on black. I print out the white shirt first. Then would i be able to directly throw on the black shirt and print with white ink? Would I have to make sure the CMYK inks are cleaned out first? and vice cersa with white ink?

Larry,

The printer has 8 channels of ink. 4 channels are dedicated to CMYK so you can always print color ink on to shirts. You can use just these 4 channels and print the transparent inks on to light colored garments. The other 4 channels allow the user to load white ink, another set of CMYK (to run a dual CMYK setup) or just cleaning cartridges. The other 4 channels with white ink in it will allow you to print a white underbase on a dark garment to block the color of the garment and then put the CMYK ink from the first 4 channels on it. Hope this clarifies things.

Mark
