white pass and ink pass seem to be out of alignment
I ran the alignment too and I tried the manual platen movement and still get this glitch, see the white under the images
There's a setting where you can choke back the underlay. Its after you enable the white in the settings on right side. I'm not at the shop or I could tell you more, Try that. John
Ken, are you using the underbase choke? Also, is it consistant from print to print?. Depending on resolution of artwork, I usually set choke to 2-3 (pixels?). Also, because the white "soaks" the shirt it might be expanding or contracting (just a theory). If it's happening in just a left-right fashon, you could also enable uni-directional on both the white and color layer.
"...... if I choke it, the the ink fall's off the top. this is a strange one
How far "off the top"? I believe the choke is pixel (resolution)dependent. If you send a file thats higher resolution and anti-alias is turned off(very imprtant) does it get better? The top layer is supposed to go beyond the white, but not enough to really notice.
that 1/8 inch thats showing white is missing at the top
I don't see a setting that lets me adjust this
this thing just came back from the factory and cost me $1000 you would think that it would be aligned
Ken, on the pic with the yellow and white, I see an area right above the one that's mis- registered and that one looks fine. Are you sure that this is not a problem caused by your artwork? How do you mask for your transparancy?
Everyone else seems aligned so its not a printer problem. You'll need to adjust the choke for it. Unfortunately the choke will apply to the whole image (even the bits that are already aligned) but its better then white gaps being exposed. Not sure if Anajet RIP is different.
yes the yellow and black print fine, they line up, but dont sit on the white correctly. I did add under base in flexi could that have placed it off kilter
I went back to the software took out the underbase and I still get the misprint am I the only one getting this problem
I just looked at a few shirts from months ago and I see this there too. I did get a power outage a few months ago.
think I should reload EK or where can I get MULTIRP GP.
not that i can afford it

Doesnt look like a choke issue on the pic, this is usually around the whole image and not at a specific angle. Looks to me like either a registration issue or maybe the shirt is stretched onto the platen, then when it slackens of during printing it changes position?
