Default Anajet Sprint

Hi all, 1st post here. I've been on this forum for months now and I have to say this is one of the most helpful groups of people I've ever come across.

That being said I was curious if anybody had any further info on the new Anajet Sprint. Further info, meaning beyond the email I received introducing it.

Thanks!

Thanks for sharing!

Any chance of seeing the pictures of the unit if they were in the email?

Maybe the email will show up in my mailbox but it looks like its targeted at new buyers instead of existing owners of the Anajet 125.

I got the email about polyester inks and I sent email back to Anajet but still haven't heard back from them.

Edit:

Just found this link via the TSF newsbot:

I just read the news story at Impressions, but I don't see any info on the new printer on their website yet.

The website has some additional info on the new machine. They say the Sprint is lower maintenance and there will be a retro-fit of the new print heads available for the existing F125. Uses the same inks.

This is very interesting. Now I'm really curious to see what exactly is this product. I wonder if being still under warranty will have any effect on the upgrade price?

Sounds like they are fitting the R1900 print head now.

I would like to see a side by side comparison for the 30% improvement on speed.

Can't anybody automate and integrate the pre-treatment process for dark garments, or are they prohibited by Kornit's patent?

Not with Dupont white ink and pretreatment it wont happen. The pretreat would cause havoc if sprayed in the same machine.

I believe the 30% is an increase in production rate, not just print speed alone. That is the way I read it on the website. Because less maintenance is required / less ruined prints.

I have heard that the corrosive qualities of the pretreatment can rust the Kornit. Let’s all petition Haynes to start selling pretreated shirts. Who is going to be the first one to sell pretreated shirts?

Many have looked into it but i believe its not commerically viable as the industry stands.

It smells like vinegar, so it's acid?
