Default Pre-Treatment stain?

Hi,

I have received some black shirt sample prints from Anajet and noticed a stain around the image, I was told this is from the pre-treatment. Is this normal an will it go?? Is there a way to minimize this?

Thanks.

Rai

The pretreatment stain will fade with washing. With the proper pretreatment techniques you shouldn't have this problem much.

The guy showed me how to pre-treat but after spraying he used a small scraper to spread the stuff. Seemed quite a lot, so maybe when I get the machine I can try putting less. Any links to best way to pre-treat with minimum of stain?

Many Thanks

It sounds like there was too much pretreatment sprayed. There are ways of pretreating that you can eliminate this box that you see on the samples. For me it is lightly spraying distilled water on the garment before the pretreatment. Here is a good link that talks about pretreating, and some good tips for applying it Little Fibers Sticking Up Off Shirt any fix?. If you get a machine, this thread will help you to learn the fine art of pretreating
